What are the requirements for a Georgia real estate license?

To obtain a Georgia Real Estate License you must:

Be at least 18 years of age

Be a high school graduate or the holder of an equivalency degree (GED

Submission of your GCIC (Georgia Crime Information Center) report

Successfully complete a 75-hour pre-licensing course, including a final exam for the course

Pass a state licensing examination.

The state requires you to take the 75-hour pre-licensing course from an approved school such as Barney Fletcher Schools.

What are the requirements for a Georgia real estate brokers license?

Once you have completed the requirements of becoming a Pre-License Salesperson you may upgrade your license to become a Broker. You may take this 60 Hour Broker course at anytime after becoming licensed, but you will not be able to sit for the State Broker Exam until you have completed 2 years of active salesperson licensure. You can apply for your State Broker License after 3 years of active licensure.
