Post License Courses

If you are newly licensed, you have just one year to complete a 25-hour post-license course. The real estate commission has approved a wide range of course topics, so you should be able to find something that appeals you to and that will help you achieve your business goals.

Two Formats

Barney Fletcher Schools offer post-license courses in two different formats, with several selections in each. You can take a course at home or come to several one of our seven locations for classroom based instruction. We offer a selection of courses which are designed to meet your educational needs, while providing you with information that will help you get your career started.

Your Real Estate Career: A Blueprint for Success

This course is a hard-hitting A to Z look at the specific skills required in residential real estate, and how they can be tailored to fit the needs of individual licensees. The program covers a wide range of topics from qualifying the buyer and showing the property, to prospecting for buyers and sellers, and contract presentation and negotiation. A great program for agents who are serious about their real estate career.

Commercial Real Estate: Post License Course

This is a 4-module introductory course covering Commercial Ground Rules, Commercial Land Acquisitions, Commercial Leasing, and Commercial Negotiations and Terminology. Each module is offered on an in-class or a distant learning basis.. There is a final exam required upon completing all four modules. For those students needing CE credit, each separate module is approved for 6 Hours of Continuing Education credit. Upon completing the course, the student may apply to the Real Estate Professional Society for the "Commercial Real Estate Professional" (CREP) designation.
